Merry fawking CHRISTMAS!

Seriously while I do occasionally spell it X-mas when I'm short on time or space to write. Its still Christmas. The I is spoke like the I in fish.. not like I (eye). I don't see why everyone has to be so bloody damn picky. I'm not a religious person. I do have my beliefs. But I don't proscribe to any one religion. I still say/type Christmas whenever and where-ever I can.

So Merry Fuckin' Christmas and a Happy New Year. (though I may or may not post again between now and then. XD)

Shameless begging

I'm hoping to get a spinning wheel soon(dad's set his heart to making one for me so it could be a while).. I cant remember if i said that already or not >.<. I have spun with a friend's drop spindle and worked with a store wheel a few times. I'm not all that good but not many beginners are excellent when they first start.

Anyone got fiber they wanna donate to my sanity? Like wool or cotton.. whatever you might have a lil extra of. E-mail me fer my infos if you wanna send me some. DX

So, I got Twinkie Chan's fashion foodies book and made a cuppycake scarf...i havent really done anything else. Oh I did make a little icecream scoop hairclippy thing based on a picture of one of hers.

So a nice lady on the Crochetville Friendship Sq. exchangything made this square for me. Isnt it wonderful!! Himself would have loved it to pieces(aka slept all over it DX).

I came home a few weeks ago.. had a breakdown or something.. Nothing much happening here.. I did finish testing a pattern for SmoothFox.. uhh.. I made a few more squares on that 12in. CAL thing... I wanted to join a CAL on Red Heart but I dont have the yarn and the likelyhood of me getting said yarn is slim to none in the next month.I feel better.. but still out of it.

Elmo

So.. It still hurts and will probably hurt for a long time but getting past it and moving on to new and better things is the goal.. plus.. .he always hated it when I was upset.. As per usual I havent gotten much useful done but I have finished a few small things.. and gotten to about 80% on the Harry themed CBN.

Anyway.. Been busy helpin clean the house since it hasnt been lived in for two n a half months or so. Plus two days with watching little cousin and a day at his mum n dad's house for his dads birthday. Havent gotten much done as usual.. some little things a couple of little hats to the collection lol. Ive started making Sunny Day circles out of the fugly white stuffs.. dunno what im gonna do with em really though.. ive gotten to 60ish% on a ColorbyNumber piece.. the rammstein thing hasnt been worked on in a while yet though. Life goes on!

P.S. .. My cat is dying and i cant be there with him.. he has been dying for the last 3 years but nothing really bad but dad says hes gotten really bad as of today.. Piddled himself passed out behind the bathroom door or something. :(

Finally a day's been chosen for me to go stay with g-ma. Next tuesday.. Dad says since its gonna be a loooong stay i can take whatever I want. Imma take my yarns and clothes some of the blankets.. Idk wether they'll let me take my bed or not lol XD but yeah. still dont know whether there will be internet there or not. so hopefully there will.

Havent done too much.. incredibly lazy.. plus having to pack soon to go live with G-ma for a bit while she recovers from her hip thing. Finally!!

Cousin's wedding is finally done n over.. went one hell of a lot better than I thought it would.. though one aspect still really coulda gone better had my brain been functioning at the time. Anyway.. Shes all happily married now... I'm jealous i think.. Realizing how incredibly lonely life is. But I've accepted it.. for now.. it seems to have killed my drive to create or work on the pieces Ive already started.. though my imagination is still on fire.. in spite of having smacked my head on the table last week.. it still hurts but anyway!!.. Happy things to the cousin.. so on so forth.

Hershey

I hate cars.. trucks.. all forms of transportation.. I dunno why.. i just get all crappy/ill feeling when in them for more than a few minutes.. and Mountains.. those make it a million times worse >.< We just got back the other day from a five day hair raising adventure to visit mother's family and go to Hershey again. Chocolate was the best part.. cousin and I were both ill for most of the time.. but anyway.. I havent made naything big.. working on the white fisherghan.. didnt like the way the diamondthing was turning out so im replacing those parts with the woven stitch pattern. Thats about it.

So.. the knitterypart finally came and ive been fiddlin with it.. nothing big yet..

Grama's hip pin thing apparently slipped and the doc says no weight on it for 4 weeks.
I started a Dark Green Fisher-ghan.. it'll take forever to finish since i only had the one 3/4 skein.. and those things arent on sale atm.. I started another one in White.. not a huge fan of big white blankets prefer the offwhite ones or whatever.. but Im sure someone will want it. That one will prob. be finished before the other one cause im pretty sure ive got enough white for it.

Gram fell and broke her hip earlier in the week. I made a square or two more on the 12in Sq. CAL. Bro might have ulcers.. uhh.. Gram is doing much better now. Oh. I managed to finish the sweater that she'd asked me to make way back when I started this blog.(a whole what.. 3 months ago XD) Havent gotten to give it to her yet.. perhaps tomorrow. I got a decent sized box of randomwhiteish colored yarns from some ladies at mom's church. Most of it is nearly if not just as or older than me. Lol. Some of its gone into one of the squares. The rest.. idk.. if it was all the same color i'd make one of those Fisherman Afghans from that booklet i got a little while ago. But it isnt DX. Ohwell.

My Brain.

So yeah.. so much dooooom over on this little funny place called GodlikeProductions. Some realllll funny crap there Seriously XD I lol-ed myself to sleep lastnight on some of it. XDDDD.. Anyway.. The internet's been rather finicky and stupid lately. Ive been working on 12in squares with a CAL, reading blogs (web permitting) and scrapping together some scrappy blankets...lolXD.. Painted Turtles.. sorta

So.. I made this RR(RoundRipple... x-pointed star) 9point star, thing.. I picked the colors based off a picture of a painted turtle.. cause of a nice lady on the Crochetville place looooves turtles.. and It got me into googling some pictures for inspiration! XD The orange is alot brighter in person.. so its not quite that reddish orange one usually pictures but I likes it!

Doily-ghan

I think the camera has run away from neglect.. I couldn't find it to take purty picturezzz!!!.. I do have the phone.. but its charging atm so yeah.. it dunna like takin pics whilst charging. I joined a wicked place called Crochetville like.. beginning of last month.. some real nice people there.. rather like.. Ravelry..just guided more for crochet.. and such things.. I started a Doiley-ghan.. earlier in the week, its purty.. I got to row 25 of the pattern.. and just could not figure out what it wanted me to do.. I'd already decided that I was gonna add more rows than the pattern called for cause i was using a smallerish (H) hook and it wouldnt be big enough for what I wanted So I just poof.. ok gonna start meh own rows now kinda thing lol. I'll be sure to get pics.. with the phone if not the camera when the blanket ish finished.. If I finish it before sunday.. I think I'll give it to grama fer mothers day or something.. why not my mom? cause I just gave her that sunflowery blanket a bit a go >.o thats why lol. So anyway.. back to the blanket-ness!

Easter was boring.. a lil bag of candy and two bucks for runnin around in mud.. not that it wasnt fun.. just yeah.. fat people really dont need chocolate >.< .. blargh.. Havent gotten much done .. did get parts to a nice big ole blanket in blue brown and tealy green color on the knitter finished. Started a circle blanket.. its so much fun! o.o.. Im a terrible handknitter but this machine works em up like a dream.. just need some more good weights little fishing weights or summat. We're going shoppin tomorrow after bro's eyeglass appt. so yeah.. get to stare at colorful things!

So we get dumped with snow.. then it thunders... while snowing.. weird as hell...
I put the FO to some UFO's.. i decided that the rainbowwavethingy was going to be babyishblanketsize.. or lapblanket.. whatever ye wanna call it.. I "finished" the green/brown spiral that i'd started ages ago.. uhh.. re-organized meh stash. so now the only ufo is the dress thing.. I have a billion ideas for other things but its cooooooooooold now.. and my brain shortcircuts when i try to get something started.. wahhhh.. I wanna work but I cannottt.. maybe summat will make it through soon lol.

Lazeee

So I haven't gotten much at all done in the last few days.. I think the rainbow-y wave thing is up to its third repetition of the color pattern.. I started a dress.. hopefully for my cousin but I think its too big.. but thats ok.. If she does like it.. I can make another one a bit smaller or something and just sell this one.. but I realllllly do need some sort of dress mannequin thingy for this so It's at a stalled point... the ripply blanket should be done by nowww >.< for one of this size.. I usually finish them in about a week.. but that cold that had me at the beginning of the month has still been plaguing me in the background of things.. plus that stupid monthlycursecomingupanydaynow.. ;laks jfgiojwioejhdafkl so yeah.. life happens..

The fiddlesome block!!@#!@# you know how a few posts back i said i ran out of gold yarn well i discovered that the hobbylobby gold color that ive got in the ripply waveyblanket is almost exactly the same shade.. its just the smallest hints of yellowerness.. the more fiddlesome difference is that the yarn is softer, thinner, and has a shine to it that the redheart does not. Buuuuuut.. i decided that since it was just.. two sides.. and inner sides at that.. that it shouldnt be too bad of a difference.. and look at the piccy.. (I know the color sucks.. i just cant be arsed to get the big cam out) you can barely tell!l;asjf;klasjf;kljdf so yeah.. i'll be finishing putting the fourblockgroups together with the green.. then doing a large green outside.. I'll posteth a pic when its done!!

So I went shopping with the cuz.. bought a couple skeins.. didn't find any of that gold so I'll probably be buying it online. Mum text-ed me while we were on our way home to say that my book/yarn had arrived in the mail.. that stuff I won from stitch.tac.sew's February giveaway lol Woooo got home its some honkin soft yarn without being weak feeling.. i may just splurge on getting some more of it in other colors.. the Book.. kickass patterns man.. I cant knit worth a damn but the crochet ones I'll probably be doing. That wavey blanket's only about twice as long as it was in the picture cause that stupid sicky came back n Ive been a bit under again.. wahhh.. but anyway.. spring is here.. although its snow outside.. its melting.. thing's will get better.

Got the pattern from Attic24. Gotta love those bright colors.. I had all these single skeins of color and couldnt think of what to do with them till i saw the tutorial last night lol. I've seen it before but it never clicked lol. Shrek Nuclear YinYangs

Watching Shrek and Woooo! Finally finished the minigranny yinyang!!
Im thinking about adding a couple more rows of black around the outside but not quite sure about that. The white side is only outlined on one side.. it'd be too bulky if i did it in the same fashion on both sides.. but ohwells.. i decided that the next time i make this it'll be done in three colors so i dont have to worry about outlining and such lol.
So Japan's now having problems with their nuclear plants.. sad.. and so many people dead.. I read on someones blog about a "prediction" about the 19th the full moon will be at its closest to the earth point than its been in a number of years.. and this'll cause some sort of epic earthquake in Cali.. Bro's friend is supposed to be going back there on Friday.. the day before.. but..all one can do is hope that nothing happens.. or that if something does that it wont be too bad..

I won summat on stitch.tac.sew. Wewt! So yeah.. yesterday was spent nursing a sore wrist.. playing Eve. And Minecraft. Lol. Got a couple more blocks done on the minigranny. Dad helped put together this box thing we have for when we have chicks(baby chickens), for the rabbit .. she loooooves all the space lol.. though if we do chicks this year she'll have to go back to her smaller spaced cage.. though dad mentioned we might build her an outdoor hutch-thing for summertime. But we'll see.

So my bro got me back on the Eve Online game.. spacefairing sort of game.. And its a good multitasking game cause it doesnt require all your attention.. Ive been doing that while my finger which i almost took the tip off of the other day was healing.. and now im "mining" and working on the mini grannythingy.

Scallopsss

Somewhat unrelated to the title.. Early this mornin I decided to change the sunflowery blanket .. it wasnt turning out the way I wanted to Hexxys and Zigzags.. its going to be fairly simple.. What was made of the blanket has been turned into a bag, scarf, potholder, and idkyet for the rest of the pieces.. Ive gotten four panels of four grannysquare style doins done of the "new" version of the blanket.. its gonna be a big one.. and Im gonna need more yarn for it.. but its a better start than the other one DX Anyway.. thats what I did today besides go out and get a new set of drawers for yarny things o rwhatever.. toodles.

I feel soooo sleepy and sick.. havent gotten anything constructive done..I came to the conclusion that i need a dress form thingy or some kind of human size dummy bc the barbie just isnt the right shape lol. So the granny skirt thing i was makin is on hold till i can get something of that sort... other than that.. nothing.

Put up a few more things on the Ebay-ness.. looked at Etsy .. again.. and it looks more appetizing.. but it'll wait till after this batch of ebay sellings... just so I have some monies to work with lol. Its meh birthday.. woo.. We're going out shopping.. fer yarns and foods..(to feed the fat-pokes jiggly-) Fingerfoods for dinner.. and Oreo Cheesecake for dessert. Maybe there'll be leftovers for tommorow.. but usually there isnt. DX How I hate being lazy in the legssss(hate exercise). Maybe get some pics of new yarns or something.. working on a lil grannysquare skirt thing.. oh maybe we'll find some good buttons or zipper for the coat thing and will be able to finish that. Made some more roseflower things.. havent found the hairclippydoos so we'll prob. get some of those.

Slept today away again. Though three of my scarves sold on ebay. though for very cheaply. Hey.. one has to start somewhere ehy? Waiting currently on payment for two of them. The third will be shipped out tommorow on meh birthday when we go out.. the others as well if payment is recieved by then.

We're going out shopoping!!! lol for yarns.. yusss hopefully be able to buy loooots of yarn. Stayed awake long enough yesterday to finish the spiral bag.. pic later. Started a granny square blanket of some kind with the left over yarns.. atleast 3/4 skeins.. that bag didnt take much yarn.. wow lol.

Sooo not much new.. 4 string bag is coming along nicely. I figured that if i made at least a feeble post short or whatever atleast once a day that I'd be able to keep this thing alive till people actually visit it. Lol. Maybe I'll come up with a awsomesauce pattern that just reels them in. But so far. Not much.. I mostly follow other peoples.. instructions for a base pattern/shape.. just like the drawing lol. Then embellish it in a fanciful or whatever manner. Ebay has no bids.. but some more viewers. I like to think that they're waiting till the last few minutes to bid.. thats what happened with the first blanket I sold. So ya.. I might take a pic of the spirally thing and post it up here or just on flickr.. we'll see.

Listenin to Nightwish.. something not Rammstein lol. Ebay stuffs has a couple of watchers.. no bids yet. But soon maybe. Anyway Got the coat nearly finished.. and it does have a hood. Pics later. Got my first-ish commish lol! G-ma wants me to make her a sweater like the little one.. in the same yarn too. NEEDS MOAR YARN!! DX Prob wont get any till B-day.. and then prob wont be right color.. but hopefully I'll get money and can go buy some. Started another spiral.. has four colors one.. a varigated is similar to the peruvian but has no green.. HobbyLobbyDefaultYarn is its maker lol.. I dont really like its feel compared to Red Heart too .. soft but its feasible. I might turn this spiral into a bag before it gets too big.. havent decided yet.  Be back latar possibly with pics.

So yeah.. worked on the 4string brown/blue spiral thing.

The hex sweater on the barbie. I decided to add the hood.. though it needs a bit more depth. Im gonna wait to add that till I can get some nice buttons or a zipper.

Took almost 3 skeins to get this far.. so I figure an adult size would take anywhere from 5 to 8 skeins of this yarn.. its sooo cooool. DX  There are more pics on the Flickr.

So we came to the conclusion that no one'll read this.. but we don't care. That just means we can be more.. us.

Some stuff forgotten in lastnight's post.. Thurr be a cute fluffy rabbit under our care. Spaz be her name. Theres also a rather old (15) cat named Smokey. Hes probably going to die soon.. :(  But then.. we've been saying that for a few years now..

Theres another annoying feet eating cat called Goldy.. real spoiled brat. Two dogs.. not mine but the parents.. both nuttier than a squirrel. Theres the chickens.. and some ginuea hens..(ugly chickens really loud.. realllllly fast). I think thats all for animals.. Ive nearly doubled the size of that first pic of the hexxy sweater. Its going to be toddler or young child size if it works. Only model i have to base it on is my old My Size Barbie (Not mine) Mines got some kickass dreads XD cause i got too lazy at taking care of her properly she lost her original outfit loooooooooong ago. Chickens..err Guineas!

Okie-do. Im not the best of bloggers.. in the sense that I tend to forget about it for sometimes.. months on end. But I'm hoping that with my relatively new attitude on things that won't happen. So a wee bit 'bout myself. I crochet.. and thats what this bloggy will primarily be about. I live the "glorious" USA, with the parentals still (I'm almost 23 >.< Sad aint it.) They have a farm ish thing going on.. chickens, garden, barn.. that sort of thing. I'm lazy.. prob the reason why I finked out on my previous attempts at blogging. But I was inspired by the happy colorful posts of Attic 24 and many many other crafty bloggers and said to myself "Why not?" I've made a number of crochet'd blankets/items. I love music, my most favored band is Rammstein. I have strange habits..like occasionally talking to mehself.. or refering to myself in the text manner as we or us. o.O(hence the Mary/May) Not too good a knitter so there probably wont be much if any of that up here. I learned the craft first from Mum, but it never really stuck to me till after I graduated HS. If you can't tell I tend to wander with my words. There are pictures of several of the creations I've made on my Flickr. I do a bit of drawing.. its mostly tracing a picture and taking the base pose.. recolor/redressing the character and such things.. not real drawing in my opinion but eh its fun. I have terrible grammer.. and I do swear.. though due to the wide audience this may have I'll be trying to keep the bad words to a minimum. So yeah..

At the moment ive got three crochet'd projects in the works. A Sunflowery blanket. (no pic yet) A green n brown scrappy spiral one.

And a Hexagon sweaterjacket (place where base idea was from) possibly for a little cousin of mine.

Aahh.. Im a night owl.. and the hook calls.. I'll attempt another post tomorrow.
